I$∆IH debuts his single Table for One. He shares more about the song and the new era

It's February 14th which means Valentines day is upon us , the day of celebrating true love amongst couples and loved ones alike. While some may have mixed emotions about it but over here we showcase the best in upcoming talent. Making his official debut is Portuguese R&B star Isaih who stamps his territory with his new Dark Rhythm and blues record TABLE FOR ONE which is accompanied by a slick and classy music video. The record isn't your usual loved up feel good type. The track highlight late night thoughts on when things ain't going right and you want to end things with your significant other, with thought provoking lyrics , spacy synths and simple but effect drum patterns and slick editing this record reflects what a heart break , love loner or couple who may have called it quits may reason with.

Known for his previous jams as heard on his EPs Hrtbrk Hrs, Libra, Self Love and Melanism.

The Lisbon born singer songwriter has been building a strong foundation over the years. His smooth vocals and memorable adlibs and harmonies together on top of mid tempo syncapated synth beats and relatable lyrics make him a artist that many can gravitate to.

We had time with the upcoming homegrown talent to chat about his new era of music with his first song of the year. Isaih spoke on what the record means and explains his vision for his new found sound and what he hopes listeners take from the record as well as gratitude that he has for his fans and supporters .

1. Welcome Isaih , Table for One is your hot new track, could you tell us what it is about ?

ISAIH: Table For One is a special song for me, not only is the first Single of this New Era but it also explains everything I been saying in regards to the lane I want to sit in Dark R&B, music for the late night or as I like to put it ‘late night confessions ’  - I also created this concept because it’s a concept I had never heard before Booking a ‘Table For One’ is a way of saying leave me in my corner let’s break up you know 

2. This single marks a new era for you in music, what do you expect listeners to learn about love and relationships on this track ?

ISAIH : my mantra for this new era is ‘late night confessions, where heartbreak sounds beautiful’ I think that pretty much sums up everything - want to become the go to for heartbreak songs or those late night drive songs! 

3. Table for one is a really smooth song, you've described your new era of songs as 'Dark R&B'. what made you go in this direction with your sound ?

ISAIH: this is a vibe that as a listener I consume a lot taking inspirations from artist such as 6lack, Partynextdoor who are pioneers for Dark R&B. I also see a spot in the UK market for it and I’m glad because it’s a honour to sit on this lane alone. 

4. You've dropped very versatile styles of music through your EPs like Hrtbrk Hrs, Libra, Self Love and Melanism. What can fans look forward to from your fresh sound ?

ISAIH : I’ve always made Versatility a big part of my career with various different types of sounds etc, Dark R&B will be my primary sound but you can still expect me to drop other genres such as Zouk, Kizomba, Afro beats occasionally. 

5. 2026 is a fresh year with big hopes and goals to achieve , do you have any projects lined up in the works ?

ISAIH: HRTBRK HRS. was my favourite project I’ve ever made it also the first time the world saw on a dark R&B vibe and I feel like it sounded great and suited me well which has now opened the doors to this new era we have right now, so with that being said I’d like to release HRTBRK HRS II  in the near future for sure.

6. Your fans have been supporting you throughout such an adventurous journey for you as artist. What would you like to say to them ?

ISAIH: I'm very grateful for everyone who’s followed the journey and all the different stages we’ve been through. Growth is super important and I feel like we have definitely grown together so Thank You. I hope this new Era keeps everyone on their toes. Welcome
