Nigerian Afro fusion star 9t9 talks about his new single Everyday and shares more behind his EP project Gold

Afro fusion has been taking the world by storm in recent years an we can't wait for music lovers to take in the sound, essence and style of this rising star. Now the shining talent returns with a double release of his romantic feel good record EVERYDAY as well as it's tantalizing music video brought to you by the creative minds behind the Bad Kompany brand. The touching upbeat love song is a gradually moving hit track as 9t9 comments about the song saying: "For me, Everyday is about embracing the beauty of unwavering love – the kind that feels like home,"

We had a chance to chat with the musical genius 9t9 ahead of the release of his brand new EP album GOLD to share more behind the making of his track and what fans can look forward to regarding his newest project.

the song first come about?

9t9: Everyday is a very personal song for me, written from the heart for that special someone. It's about reassurance, commitment, and choosing love despite life's challenges. The song speaks to the promise of standing by your person through thick and thin, and I'm grateful to share this piece of myself with the world.

2) What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your new record and

watching the music video. what was that process like, did you enjoy it?

9t9: Honestly, I just want people to feel the love. If 'Everyday' can inspire a romantic text, a thoughtful gesture, or a real conversation, I'll feel fulfilled. Love's a beautiful thing, and I believe everyone should get to experience it at least once in their lifetime.

3) What advice would you give new creatives around the world or those who

want to pursue a career in music ?

9t9: Music isn't a quick fix, it's a lifelong journey. If you're sure about pursuing it, be all in. It's a gift, so do it with passion, do it with joy, and do it even when nobody's watching. When music's your calling, you'll feel it in your bones – so follow that fire!

4) Now all eyes are locked in and many are excited for your upcoming 6-track

project GOLD. Could you tell what can we expect from this project, a stronger

sound, are there any featured artists and describe this project in 3 words ?

9t9: GOLD is a labour of love that I'm incredibly proud of. Ideally, it would've been an album, but I'm thrilled with how the 6 tracks came together. We had a wealth of material to choose from, and the final selection exceeded my expectations. In three words, I'd describe GOLD as Breath-taking, Epic, Brilliant.

5) Finally, What’s coming up next from you. Could we look forward to more

music videos, covers and any live shows coming up ? 9t9 : There's definitely more music on the way! I'm working on another video that I'll announce soon. But the real excitement is building up to my first-ever listening session, 'CTRL Room'. It's an intimate gathering with my fans – just good music, good vibes, and celebrating the 9t9 brand. We'll dive into the new project and sing along to all your favorite tracks. Trust me, this year is going to be wild – and wonderful. Stay tuned!
