The rising upcoming singer songwriter from London city has been performing all around the country and building skill, grit and grace.

Produced by Yekki Productions and written by Naz herself this record is a great move from one of the UK's newest acts in the music scene. defining the record as one that was written at "a moment of emotional fatigue, a point in a relationship where silence becomes heavier than the truth. Rather than dressing things up, Honest confronts mixed signals, unspoken feelings, and the discomfort that comes with finally saying what needs to be said"
Honest goes deep into the questions, thoughts and feelings that many ask or think about. Naz lyrically does a great job and the soft rock, soulful ballad influences together with Naz powerful vocals shine through and through on this track. Welcome Naz. Thank you for sharing your creative journey with us. We love your latest record HONEST. Could you tell us about it first came about?
NAZ: Honest really emerged from a turning point in my life. I knew I deserved more, but I hadn’t fully let go yet. The song was me embracing truth even before I felt ready to live it. It’s really about emotional maturity—recognizing when something no longer fits and choosing honesty over shrinking yourself. Writing it felt like reclaiming my power.
We appreciate this deep, thorough and heartfelt record. What do you hope listeners learn from this single, are there any life lessons that you want them to learn?
NAZ: I really hope people realize that choosing yourself isn’t selfish—it’s vital. So many of us stay in situations because we see potential. But potential doesn’t build a future. Consistency, respect—those do. Honest is about valuing peace over attachment, growth over comfort. If it gives someone the courage to stop settling, then it’s done its job.

You’ve released some incredible singles so far including Can we go back, Selfish and Want You, How would you describe your growth as an artist ?
NAZ: With tracks like Want You and Selfish, I was still exploring. Now, I’m creating with intention. I know my sound, my identity, and the world I’m building. I’m not chasing trends—I’m carving my own lane, leaning into my Persian roots, my vocal power, and emotional storytelling. I love weaving in those rock textures—it feels natural since Persian music and even Michael Jackson were huge influences on me. Now, it all comes together—more refined, fearless, and fully authentic.
It must be an overly exciting journey for you, what does it feel like when you’re making these records? What was it like growing up in music, did you always want to be a singer and songwriter, any musical inspirations ?
NAZ: Honestly, it’s the best feeling. Making records feels like stepping into another world where I can turn emotions into music. I grew up surrounded by Persian melodies—they definitely shaped me. But I was equally obsessed with artists like Michael Jackson. Performing and expressing myself always felt like the path I was meant for.

On the rise, you’ve been performing across the country and building your experience in the music business. What advice can you get the younger generation about living their dreams?
NAZ: Don’t wait for validation. Build quietly, stay disciplined, and trust your vision. I’ve performed across the country by being authentically myself and staying consistent. Success isn’t always loud—it’s often just persistent. And protect your confidence, because the world will test it.
Lastly, what can we expect from you moving forward, any more singles coming up, maybe an EP or a headline show this year? NAZ: This is a breakthrough year for me. Expect more singles, stronger visuals, and bigger stages. I’m working toward a cohesive body of work—intentional, elevated, and rooted in my culture. I’m not just releasing songs; I’m building something lasting. And honestly, this is only the beginning. Be sure to follow Naz on Instagram
